Nov. 7th, 2007: e-Racing takes 2nd place in “Super Lap Battle” FINALS at Buttonwillow, CA

After e-Racing’s best year of racing to date, team driver Mark Kibort capped off e-Racing’s record-breaking 2007 season with an impressive 2nd place finish in the Super Lap Battle finals (Limited FR class) at Buttonwillow Raceway in Buttonwillow, CA (the event was formerly called “Super Street Time Attack”).

This year’s Super Lap Battle included vehicles and teams from all over the globe competing for the top honors. CONGRATULATIONS to Mark for a fantastic finish on an amazing season of racing. We look forward to another great year in 2008

Oct. 28th, 2007: TEAM e-RACING CROWNED SCCA ITE SERIES 2007 SEASON CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to Team e-Racing’s driver, Mark Kibort for taking home the first full season championship trophy for e-Racing Motorsports.
After several years of season finishes in the top 3, the 2007 SCCA ITE series ended with a heated battle that resulted in e-Racing’s first season championship trophy. Thank you Mark! You have unquestionably proved that a 20 year-old car (modified with only proven bolt-on performance adders and a skilled driver) can not only compete with some of the latest and greatest hardware, but also WIN A SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP in a racing class that has no limits to allowable performance modifications.

Again, Congratulations and thank you Mark for a great season of Racing. We look forward to proving the e-RAM again against the best of the best at the National “Time Attack” event at Buttonwillow Raceway on Wednesday, November 7th!

NOTE: This year’s “Time Attack” is now called “Super Lap Battle.” Primedia Publishing recently changed the name of the event to represent Modified, Import Tuner, Super Street, Eurotuner, and Siphon Magazines.

July, ’07: Team e-Racing 1st place finish results in invitation to FINALS of Super Street & Euro Tuner “Time Attack” on Nov. 7th.

With the 2007 NASA racing season in full swing, and a couple of key race wins in the ITE class, e-Racing easily earned a formal invitation from Super Street and Euro Tuner magazines to compete against 70 of the best drivers and factory-backed teams from around the world in the “Time Attack” finals on November 7th, 2007. The e-Racing Porsche 928 S4 is a veteran of four seasons in the Speed GT World Challenge Series, has already won several “unlimited class” events this year, and has always been “Street Legal.” This qualifies us to run in the “Limited/Street Car” category. Competitors better watch out! We are going there with a focus on only one goal… to win it all! Come out and see us beat the best at Buttonwillow Raceway on November 7th, 2007. See you there!

July, ’07: e-Racing moves to new location in Auburn, California.

June 23rd & 24th, 2007: Team e-Racing takes ANOTHER 1ST PLACE WIN (from Thunderhill Raceway)

Team e-Racing's Porsche 928 S4 driven by Mark Kibort, continues to dominate the 2007 ITE series with another race win, this one at the SCCA double-header weekend (June 23rd & 24th at Thunderhill Raceway). A broken alternator during the event still could not stop e-Racing Motorsports from making their move as the clear season points leader. Great driving Mark! Also, congratulations to Scott Graham (also Team e-Racing) for placing 4th in both races during the double-header weekend!

May 6th, 2007: Team e-Racing wins FIRST PLACE in SCCA event at Laguna Seca

In the “unlimited class” race (SCCA ITE Regional Series Event) on May 6th, 2007, e-Racing competed amongst a field packed with cars sporting well over 400HP. In our “Old Faithful” e-RAM powered Porsche 928 S4, driven by Mark Kibort, e-Racing Motorsports drove away with 1st place in that weekend’s main event. The field included several heavily modified Dodge Vipers, Chevy Corvettes, Ford Mustangs, BMW M3s, Nissan 350Zs, Honda S2000s, and a monster 480HP Mitsubishi EVO. Congratulations to Mark on a great win! With several full season finishes of 2nd place and 3rd place in the past 3 years, we are committed to bringing home the ITE season championship trophy this year.” Good job Mark!

The e-RAM is dyno tested on a 1995 BMW M3 E36, and creates 19.2 HP GAIN & 11.1 ft/lb Torque GAIN! (Measured at the wheels on a DynoJet Chassis Dyno)
